Post-Mortem (Show)
The structured post-show debrief — what worked, what didn't, what to try next time. More formal than a walk home, usually at the next rehearsal.
Known for
- Common format: start with one thing each player liked, then one thing each player wishes had gone differently, then coach notes.
- Functional goal: separate 'bad show' from 'show with bad moments' — teams that conflate the two spiral.
- Healthy post-mortem norm: the coach calls the end, so debriefs don't spiral into hours of rehash.
