- Hired her nephew Martin de Maat and daughter Linnea to teach alongside her.
- Alumni include Bill Murray, Brian Doyle-Murray, Bonnie Hunt, Harold Ramis, Shelley Long, George Wendt, David Mamet, David Pasquesi, Amy Sedaris.
